Background[]
Ed and Cherry went to Thomas Mills High School together. They lost contact after Cherry graduated. They reconnected through a mutual friend in 2015 when Cherry was working in New York and Ed was on tour. They then had their first date at Taylor Swift’s Fourth of July party.
There was instantly a strong connection. During Ed’s year off, they moved in together and have two cats, Dorito and Calippo. She has also accompanied Ed on tour and they’ve travelled together privately.
Ed proposed in December 2017 and they got married in January 2019. In 2021 Ed and Cherry had their first daughter Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran. In February 2022, she found out that she had a cancerous tumour in her arm while six months pregnant with their second daughter, Jupiter Seaborn Sheeran and wasn't able to do anything about it until after the birth. In May after the birth she got it safely removed and it hasn't come back.
